Unearthing Your Inner Beauty

Inner beauty is important because as Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not.” It is all in you. Your desired grace and elegance come from within. The healthy living blogging community writes about their lifestyles filled with inner beauty on a daily basis. All of these women took different paths to find their charm and positive outlook.

I asked the lovely bloggers:  How did you find your own inner beauty? What does it mean to you and how do you share it with the world?

“There is a metaphor in Buddhist philosophy called Indra’s Net where a web of jewels reflecting back into one another symbolizes the interconnectedness of everything in the world. I think this concept applies for me to inner beauty. Inner beauty shines brightest when it is reflected back at us from the web of life in our relationships to others, actions and interactions. It might be hard to see inner beauty when sitting alone in a dark room, but through kindness to others, inner beauty is both felt and seen.” – Kath, Kath Eats Real Food
